Authorities have launched search and rescue efforts to look for a staff member from a resort in Raa atoll who went missing after going snorkelling.

Authorities have launched search and rescue efforts to look for a staff member from a resort in Raa atoll who went missing after going snorkelling.
A police media official said today that the missing individual is an Indian national identified as 25-year old Aftab Khan. However, the name of the resort was not immediately available.
He was reported missing yesterday at around 03:30 pm, and Maldives National Defence Force's Coast Guard units are actively searching for him, the official said.
Police are also investigating the matter.
