Police have begun investigating a case where a foreign maid is alleged of abusing a three-year-old child.
A Nepalese woman working in a house in Male' is alleged of abusing the child.
In a message sent to the press, police said that although the case was reported Tuesday, no one has been arrested so far.
While police are investigating this case, they had also arrested a maid in 2023 for child abuse.
