Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani, is vacationing in the Maldives with his wife, Radhika Merchant.
The couple is staying at the exclusive Soneva Secret resort in Haa Dhaalu atoll, known for its seclusion and privacy.
During their stay, Anant visited the nearby island of Makunudhoo on a jet ski on Saturday.
Upon arrival, he inquired about purchasing a chicken and a rabbit.
A resident shared that Anant bought the animals from a home where they were being raised. He also attempted to visit another house where birds were kept but left when no one was home.
Anant returned to the resort on his jet ski, while his security detail and resort staff followed him in a speedboat. A bodyguard accompanied him on a separate jet ski.
Anant Ambani is a well known animal lover and owns the world’s largest animal shelter in India and the world. The facility houses a variety of animals, including elephants, and is designed to mimic their natural habitats.
It was established as part of his charity work and employs a dedicated team for animal care.
Soneva Secret resort, located on Dipparafushi Island in Haa Dhaalu atoll, was once used as a picnic island by Makunudhoo residents, it has been transformed into one of the Maldives' most private and exclusive resorts.
