In the ruling, he Court said that attendees cannot leave while a hearing is ongoing without seeking permission from the presiding Judge. It said that she had walked out without seeking permission despite having been informed that action would be taken in such an instance.
The ruling says that the woman had left the hearing, walked through the court's reception area and into the legal officer's office, and from there into the lobby.
Hence, she was sentenced to three days in jail for disrespecting the court and acting in violation of the trial process.
