Oman Air, the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman, has recommenced operations to Maldives.
The first flight after operations resumed, landed at Velana International Airport on Sunday afternoon, departing back to Oman later that night.
Oman Air uses Boeing 737 MAX aircrafts, which carries 162 passengers, on its Muscat-Male route.
Oman Air first commenced flights to Maldives in 2009. The airline had halted operations a few times previously, the latest being 2016.
