Oman Air, the national carrier of Oman, is to resume operations to the Maldives in October this year.
According to Muscat Daily, Oman Air will resume flights on October 28. The airline will also commence operations to Beirut and Singapore.
The Boeing 737 MAX aircraft is to be used for these flights.
Oman Air halted flights to the Maldives in April 2016 due to a decrease in demand.
Currently a number of Middle Eastern airlines including the Emirates, Etihad Airways and Qatar Airlines operate daily scheduled flights to the island nation.
