YAMAHA launches win an engine promotion

A promotion was launched at the Maldives Marine Expo's Yamaha stall where one lucky winner could win a Yamaha 50 horsepower engine.

Visitors of the Yamaha stall at the Maldives Marine Expo will be able to participate in the promotion from Friday until next Tuesday. The lucky winner will be selected by lottery, and the draw will be held on Tuesday.

The Yamaha four-stroke 50 outboard engine is one of the smaller engines with low fuel consumption and high speed. It is a popular engine designed and tested in Maldives for fishing, suitable for small and medium sized vessels said Alia, the authorised distributor of the engine.

While Aliya and Yamaha's partnership is over 50 years old, Aliya has revolutionised the marine industry of the country. The company introduced Yahama products to the Maldives and continues to supply the brand's products without disruption.

Every Yamaha outboard engine model introduced by Alia to Maldives is tested in local waters and designed to suit the country's environment.

The company said it hopes that as in previous years, many people will visit the Yamaha stall at the Marine Expo to participate in the promotion.
