Police arrest 20 Maldivians on Saturday with narcotics from a residence in capital Male’.
According to the police, they received a report of drug trade and obtained a court order to search the residence where they found 38 rubber packets filled with narcotics
Furthermore, Police revealed that a minor and an expatriate were among the detained.
While 20 Maldivians were arrested with drugs, five people in possession of alcohol were arrested from in the streets of Male’.
