A woman was hospitalised in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of ADK Hospital, on Tuesday evening, after she was hit by a car as she was crossing the road near the military hospital Senahiya.
A witness revealed to local media Mihaaru, that two women were hit by a taxi while they were on the zebra crossing. Only one individual was left in serious condition.
The victim's acquaintances said that the woman suffered a brain haemorrhage. She is the mother of an 18-month-old baby.
The witness stated that the woman fell and hit her head on the speed breaker after the car crashed into her.
The taxi driver rushed the women to the nearby Senahiya Hospital and then to ADK Hospital, where she is currently undergoing treatment.
The police have yet to make any comments regarding the accident.
ADK hospital did not divulge any information regarding the victim as well, although the hospital confirmed that it was treating an individual involved in an accident.
