Police search for suspects in counterfeit USD exchange

Police, on Wednesday, launched a search for two individuals who are suspected of exchanging counterfeit US Dollars.

The police appealed to the public to come forth with any information regarding the suspects, and released a video of the two.

The video depicts a man who was on the phone, while the other suspect entered the unknown premises afterwards.

The police, however, did not disclose where the transaction took place or the location shown in the video, but it is assumed that the suspects are in capital Male'.

It is yet unknown whether the police have brought the two suspects into custody yet.
