Ministry of Health on Tuesday announced that they were looking to employ 480 doctors in hospitals and health care centres across Maldives.
According to the statement, the ministry is seeking 319 General Physicians and 164 Specialist Doctors.
The deadline for the applications is February 14.
Salaries for Specialist Doctors begin at MVR 41,000, along with additional allowances and overtime pay.
Senior Medical Officials from the General Physicians will receive a salary between MVR 25,000 and MVR 30,000, while Medical Officers are to receive an amount between MVR 23,000 and MVR 26,000. Allowances and overtime pay are also included for these posts.
Furthermore, the ministry stated that the doctors can work in any atoll of their choosing.
The Health Ministry also announced employment opportunities for more than 100 laboratory technicians, 25 radiographers and 17 physiotherapists.
