Guest House Association of Maldives (GAM) is participating in the Travel Trade expo held in Mumbai, India.
GAM partook in the expo with Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) for the first time.
The association is promoting middle-class tourism in the Maldives, in the fair taking place from Jan 23 -25. GAM said that the promotions, themed “Local Island Tours”, were amassing traction.
According to GAM, Indian tourist arrivals in Maldives has increased since the start of Go and Indigo Airlines' operations to Maldives. The association stated that the purpose of participating in the expo is to boost the numbers.
