Sunjay Sudhir to take over as Indian Ambassador to Maldives as per Indian media reports.
According to 'Times of India', Sudhir will be replacing current Ambassador to Maldives Akhilesh Mishra.
Sudhir currently holds a position as the Joint Secretary of International Cooperation at India's Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
Previously, he held the position of Consul General of India in Australia and joined the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) in 1993.
Mishra joined the IFS in 1989. Before being designated Ambassador to Maldives in 2016, Mishra was Consul General of India in Toronto, Canada.
