Police arrested two foreigners on Sunday with a large number of drugs.
According to the police, the two 21-year-olds were arrested with 57 packets of drugs.
However, the police did not reveal their nationalities.
One of them was arrested at Velana International Airport (VIA) with 31 packets, while the other was arrested in capital Male' after 26 packets of drugs were discovered at his residence.
The man arrested from Male' was caught during a special operation by the Drug Enforcement Unit.
So far, the police have not confirmed if there is any connection between the two arrests.
The Criminal Court remanded both expatriates for a period of 15 days.
