A Maldivian on holiday in Sri Lanka was killed on Saturday after being struck by a train in Colombo.
The 21 year old has been identified as Izham Mohamed of Gaaf Dhaal Atoll Madaveli island.
The reasons behind the accident are unclear but Izham was reportedly out with friends when he was hit.
Izham who is a law student at the Maldives National University (MNU) had gone to Colombo with friends the day before.
