Laniakea Education Private Limited in association with International Student Identity Card Global Office is introducing International Student ID Cards (ISIC) for Maldivian students in January next year.

Laniakea Education is also introducing International Youth Travel Card (IYTC) and International Teacher ID Card (ITIC) in addition to their International Student ID Cards.

ISIC has been in use since its establishment in Amsterdam in 1953, and is a globally recognized card accepted in 130 countries. This card enables students to attain large discounts for their purchases in various caf├ęs and coffee shops, bookshops, and in buying study materials and software.

The additional cards that are being introduced include the International Youth Travel Card (IYTC), which targets those between the ages 12 to 30, offering large discounts for online shopping and travel expenses, and the International Teachers ID Card (ITIC) which also offers discounts from various parts across the globe.

The International Student Identity Card has been endorsed by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) since 1968.

These three newly introduced cards, ISIC, IYTC and ITIC, will all be available for purchase from Laniakea from January onwards.
