Jumhooree Party (JP)'s Secretary General Ahmed Sameer has been appointed as a Minister at the President's Office, on Thursday.
The Minister received his letter of appointment during a ceremony held at the President’s Office.
Sameer is joined by Ali Shiyam, Maldives Democratic Party (MDP)'s Vice-President Mohamed Shifaz and former Foreign Minister Ahmed Naseem as Ministers at the President's office.
The President's Office currently has four Ministers.
