Sri Lankan Prime Minister Mahindra Rajapakse, on Tuesday, issued a statement expressing gratitude to Islamic nations for their continued show of support to his country.

Rajapakse issued the statement on a notable Islamic holiday, conveying well wishes to Muslims all over the world in addition to those living in Sri Lanka.
