Architects Association Maldives (AAM) has announced the launch of monthly 'AAM Talks', an initiative launched by the association featuring monthly talks on the built environment while focusing on the architecture, beginning on Thursday.
The first installation will focus on 'Architecture and its profession in Maldives', provide a historical perspective spanning from 1965 to 2008.
The event is set to commence at 2030 hours in the Mspace office on November 8.
It will involve a two-hour presentation conducted by renowned architects Mauroof Jameel and Ali Sahil.
'AAM Talks' hopes to raise awareness and appreciation for architecture and the built environment amongst professionals and public alike.
