President-Elect Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and Vice President-Elect Faisal Naseem on Monday, met with young entrepreneurs, and son's of Maldives' business elite.
The meeting held at the President-Elect’s office was attended by young leaders in charge of handling prominent businesses in the country
President-Elect Solih and Vice-President Elect Faisal were joined by Managing Director of Villa Group of Companies Siyad Gasim who is also the son of Gasim Ibrahim, Managing Director of Nalahiya Trading Company Ismail Jumayyil Waheed who is also the son of the owner Ibrahim Waheed and other leading young members representing Damas and Rainbow groups of companies.
No details regarding the discussions held were revealed.
Many global institutions and foreign dignitaries have endorsed the election and offered their congratulations to the opposition coalition victor President-Elect Solih, while he continues to meet with additional state and civil society representatives.
The opposition candidate, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih received 134,704 votes in his favour, winning the presidential election with a pronounced lead of over 38,000 votes against President Yameen who received a total of 96,052 votes, marking the widest margin in a presidential election in the Maldives to date.
