The Residence Maldives at Dhigurah, a second resort by The Residence by Cenizaro, has a built a connective bridge between the upcoming resort and sister resort The Residence Maldives at Falhumaafushi.

The resort, nestled in the Gaafu Alif Atoll, stands adjacent to The Residence by Cenizaro’s first property in the island nation, The Residence Maldives at Falhumaafushi.

The custom-built connective bridge between both resorts transforms the combined properties into the largest resort offering in the Maldives.

The Residence Maldives' newest property is due to open in January 2019 and according to the travel website Maldives.net, it will feature a total of 173 luxury rooms including beach villas and water villas.

The resort's management also revealed that locally sourced materials were used to build the hotel, within designs that seek to utilize the abundant natural light of a tropical island.

A large variety of cuisines are to be available at various dining facilities located within the resort including all-day dining at The Dining Room, a picturesque beachfront restaurant and the resort’s signature Cantonese restaurant 'Li Bai' which will serve Chinese classics.

Cenizaro Hotel & Resorts, the hospitality arm of Singapore-based Bonvests Holdings Limited, is a leading international property and hospitality company with a portfolio of independent luxury hotel properties in some of the world’s most desirable locations.

Their collection of 'The Residence by Cenizaro' resorts are located in Bintan (Indonesia), Mauritius, Maldives, Tunis and Zanzibar.
