A Maldivian was arrested Saturday with 800 grams of heroin at Don Muang Airport in Thailand.
According to a Thai news website, the 43-year-old man was carrying the drugs in his luggage. He was captured by the Thai drug suppression police, while trying to fly to Colombo, Sri Lanka via Malaysia.
He has since been charged with possession, selling and exporting of a Class A drug. Thai media added that the police were investigating the case further.
