MDP pledges special pension for seasoned employees

Opposition coalition presidential candidate and Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) member Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has pledged to provide a special pension for seasoned employees in an administration of the opposition.

Speaking during a campaign trip to Baa atoll Kendhoo, Hinnavaru MP Solih stated that protecting the rights of employees are of utmost importance to the opposition coalition, consisting of main opposition MDP, Jumhooree Party (JP), Adhaalath Party (AP) and former president Maumoon Abdul Gayoom’s faction.
