Elections Commission on Sunday released the new voters' registry for the upcoming Presidential Election, after addressing the complaints submitted regarding the initial voters' list.
The first list had received 1,700 complaints by the time the deadline for complaint submission expired last month. The new registry was released with 734 amendments.
According to EC member Ahmed Akram, the public can submit any issues they have with the revised list, from July 2 - 5.
The commission will also open re-registration for voters this months.
The main complaints submitted to the initial list were over including the names of underage people and deceased people.
The registry lists 263,000 people as eligible to vote in the Presidential Election slated for coming September 23.
