A man who was being treated at the intensive care unit of Hithadhoo Regional Hospital after he fell from a palm tree, passed away Monday evening.
Hathim Fauzy, 31, fell from his neighbour’s palm tree and landed on a pile of rocks that were beside the tree.
A hospital staff said that his condition was very serious when he was brought to the hospital.
“He had fractures on his arms and legs, and he had started to bleed into his brain,” he said.
