One of the men involved in a fatal accident late Tuesday night is in critical condition and is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ADK Hospital has confirmed.

The accident took place at 11:30 p.m. near the President’s Office after two motorbikes collided.

While two people were involved in the accident, 45-year-old Ismail Naseem had sustained serious injuries and is being treated at the ICU. Although ADK Hospital did not give any further details about his condition, he allegedly has a cerebral haemorrhage and injuries to his face.

The second person in the accident was a 20-year-old and he was released from the hospital on Tuesday after being treated for minor injuries.

Both motorbikes were badly damaged after the accident. Parts of the bikes were seen on the ground from the images taken from the scene.
