A Maldivian man who went missing in Trivandrum, India, while there for medical treatment has been found more than 24 hours later.

Ali Ibrahim, a resident of Raa Meedhoo, went missing early Thursday morning after leaving for a walk.

He was found sitting by the roadside after losing his way back, a source familiar with the matter said.

Ali was found in good condition, the source said.

His child had earlier told Mihaaru News that Ali went missing after leaving for an early morning walk at around 5:30am. A search was launched at 9am after he failed to return, the child said.
