A Maldivian man who travelled to India for medical treatment has gone missing in Trivendrum.

Ali Ibrahim, Athamaa, Raa atoll Meedhoo, went missing after leaving his accommodation at around 5:30am

Speaking to Mihaaru News, his child said that   their father went missing when he went out for a walk.

His family began searching for him at around 9am today.

Ali was last seen wearing a purple T-shirt and a light blue sarong.
