Police said that Ali Juman, of Kuhlhavahge, HA. Baarah has been arrested today under a court order following a social media post inciting violence and calling to set fire to vehicles and some buildings, and to loot a shop.

The matter is currently under investigation, Police said.

Juman was also arrested on October 3 last year, for failing to obey police orders at an MDP protest. The PG Office later dropped these charges.

In a post on X last Monday, Juman said that the people cannot remain idle and watch as the government gives land to jews, and urged the public to set fire to buildings and vehicles, and loot Redwave outlets and riot.

In a similar case, Zihan Hassan, a former MNDF First Lieutenant who also served as a Deputy Minister during this administration, was also arrested for calling to set fire to the President's Office, Supreme Court and Parliament. He has been remanded in custody for 15 days.
