More than 6,000 complaints have been lodged with Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) by residents of its Amaan Udhares and Amaan Dhoadhi towers, with water leaks and maintenance issues among the most common concerns.
The corporation said today that it had received 6,917 complaints through its online portal, email and reception since residents began occupying the flats.
Of these, 6,128 cases have been resolved, while the remaining 789 are still being addressed by FDC teams.
The most frequently reported issues relate to water leaks and building maintenance. Other complaints concern difficulties with payments and updating information through the online portal, changes to apartments, noise disturbances and elevator maintenance.
Residents of the FDC towers have raised several concerns with the FDC.
On 14 October, FDC cancelled the agreements for two flats and ordered their occupants to vacate the units for failure to pay rent.
The corporation later said payments for the two apartments were now being made.
