To carry out repair work on Boduthakurufaanu Magu, notice has been given to remove vehicles parked in the area extending from the Tsunami Monument to the Social Center in order to close that section.

In a post published on social media today, police stated that to undertake this work, it has been decided to bring changes to traffic in that area and close the road starting from 12:00 midnight tonight.

Police also stated that they apologize for any difficulties this change may cause to travelers and the general public, and expressed gratitude for the cooperation received from the public in such matters.

The government has contracted MTCC with a major project to modernize and repair Malé's Boduthakurufaanu Magu. This is work carried out by widening Boduthakurufaanu Magu on the northern side of Malé and designing it with asphalt paving to make travel and walking convenient.
