The three suspects arrested yesterday during a police raid at H. Maadhooge over the illegal trading of alcohol in the Male' area has had their remand periods extended. 

One of the suspects had their remand in custody extended by 15 days by the Criminal Court, while the other two received a 5 day extension. 

As per the police website, the three suspects are all Bangladeshi, and has been identified as Al Ameen, 34, Polin, 43, and MD Rakib Hosen, 25. 

Ameen and Polin received a 5 day remand extension, while Rakib Hosen received 15 days. 

Police raided two floors at H. Maadhooge under a court order yesterday, where they seized 826 bottles of alcohol. 

Videos released by Police yesterday shows that the office space in which the alcohol had been stored had been secured with a smart lock on the door. Inside, the alcohol bottles were stored on shelves, while more cases of alcohol were stacked on the floor.
