Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has appointed two deputy medical directors to improve clinical services and strengthen administrative management.

According to a memo signed by the hospital’s CEO, Ibrahim Haleem, Dr Ahmed Rasheed and Dr Abdulla Ubaid have been appointed to the posts.

The appointments are intended to improve the quality of clinical services and make administrative management more efficient, the memo said.

Dr Rasheed will oversee medical matters, while Dr Ubaid will lead efforts to improve surgical services.

IGMH previously had one Deputy Medical Director alongside its Medical Director.
