Police have released a 22-year-old man after summoning and advising him over repeated incidents of dangerous driving, without taking further action.
Police said the man was the first to be summoned under an initiative targeting motorists who repeatedly drive dangerously and cause fear among the public.
His record includes performing stunts while driving, weaving between lanes at high speeds, driving against traffic on one-way roads and using a mobile phone while driving, police said.
The record also includes driving with an expired vehicle annual fee and driving while his licence was withheld.
Police said they were working to identify other motorists who repeatedly engage in dangerous driving, summon them to police stations and advise them on road safety.
The move comes amid concerns over dangerous driving on the roads. A 26-year-old woman recently passed away from injuries sustained after being hit by a motorcycle on Sosun Magu.
The motorcyclist was reportedly driving without a licence and zigzagging at high speed. The driver was arrested and remanded in custody pending trial.
