The HDC has started installing new speed breakers in the accident-prone areas of Hulhumale' after complaints that the current speed breakers were causing harm to people.

The HDC has launched a program to repair and build speed breakers in areas where accidents are common.

The HDC has begun installing speed breakers in Hulhumale' due to frequent nearby accidents and serious injuries.

Rubber speed breakers were first installed on the roads in September last year.

Many people have complained about the speed breakers installed on the busy roads of Hulhumale. Some people who expressed concern at the time said the speed breakers, which were attached to the tarmac, caused back pain even when they ride very slowly.

So, many people then called for the items to be removed during the meetings held with the people by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu in different areas of Male' City.

The breakers were installed in an effort to make the streets of Hulhumale safer back then.
