Fathimath Sausan, a member of the Employment Tribunal, has passed away.

Employment Tribunal Vice-President Ahmed Mamdhooh said in a post that Sausan, who served in the tribunal’s Industrial Relations Division, passed away suddenly.

She passed away early this morning while receiving medical treatment in India.

Sausan was appointed to the Employment Tribunal in April 2024. She also worked as a lawyer.

Condolences have been offered by those working in the legal and industrial relations fields.
