A 56-year-old has been arrested for stealing coconuts from coconut palms at Rasfannu.

The sentence states that the S. Hithadhoo native was arrested, produced to court and remanded for 7 days. The sentence also reads that they have a criminal record.

The 56-year-old stated in court they were unaware that it was prohibited to pick coconuts from the palm trees at Rasfannu.
