State Electric Company (Stelco) said a technical problem has caused a power outage in parts of Hulhumale' Phase 1.

The outage occurred about 20 minutes ago, according to Stelco, which apologized for the inconvenience caused by the interruption.

Hulhumale' Phase 1 also experienced a two-hour power outage last week.
