A new version of the Dhivehi digital dictionary "Radheef" has been launched by the Dhivehi Bahuge Academy featuring entirely new elements.

Comprising mobile and web applications, this digital dictionary was developed by developer Ahmed Nadheem upon the recommendation of the Dhivehi Bahuge Academy's Language Committee.

The greatest convenience included in the new version is the ability to view the dictionary for each letter individually, alongside having the meanings of all words visible in a single list.

Additionally, a system has been incorporated allowing individuals to bookmark their most popular words and separately view previously searched words. While previously word meanings could only be shared as a link, this time both the word and its meaning can be shared together.

Furthermore, words added to the dictionary each year will be visible separately under the vocabulary list. Besides standard official language, this version also allows separate browsing of dictionary entries for various atoll dialects and archaic terms as well.

The academy stated that the new version includes arrangements to separately view grammatical categories (nouns, verbs, adjectives), literary genres, idioms, and proverbs. Additionally, the academy noted that lists of various groups, such as the names of birds, plants, and diseases, can also be browsed.

In addition to current statistics and various language activities, this version also incorporates language games to encourage those who love the language.
