The Ministry of Housing is seeking to recruit eight civil engineers for various sections of the ministry.
According to the vacancy announcement, three engineers, including an assistant civil engineer, are required for the Coastal Section. Two senior civil engineers will be recruited for the Strategic Projects Section, while one civil engineer each is required for the Housing Projects, Roads and Airport Development sections.
The basic salary for an assistant civil engineer is MVR14,095, with a position allowance of MVR6,575 and an attendance allowance of MVR180 per day. The advertised monthly salary is MVR26,070.
A civil engineer will receive a basic salary of MVR18,945, along with an attendance allowance of MVR295 per day. The advertised monthly salary is MVR38,645.
The basic salary for a senior civil engineer is MVR22,670, with a position allowance of MVR12,985 and an attendance allowance of MVR350 per day. The advertised monthly salary is MVR46,155.
Qualifications
Applicants for the senior civil engineer position must have a Level 10 doctoral degree or Level 9 master’s degree in a relevant field, with four years of relevant experience.
Applicants with a Level 7 or 8 qualification under the National Qualifications Framework or a bachelor’s honors degree must have eight years of relevant work experience.
For the civil engineer position, applicants must have a Level 9 master’s degree, a Level 7 or 8 qualification under the National Qualifications Framework, or a bachelor’s honors degree, with four years of relevant work experience.
Applicants for the assistant civil engineer position must have a Level 7 or 8 qualification or a bachelor’s honors degree under the National Qualifications Framework.
