A dangerous accident occurred in Male' last night, where two motorcycles crashed. The accident left three persons injured. 

The accident occurred on Sosun Magu late last night, with police receiving reports of it at around 1:12am.

A 21 year old, a 22 year old man and a 26 year woman were injured in the crash. All the victims are Maldivian. 

The woman is under treatment at ADK Hospital, while the two men are being treated at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital, police said. Their current conditions and the extent of injuries have not been disclosed. 

However, videos of the accident circulating on social media show that the woman suffered a head injury causing heavy bleeding. The other two are also seen fallen on the ground, having sustained various levels of injuries. 

Police have revealed that the 21 year old, who had been driving one of the motorcycles, does not possess a valid driving licence.
