A foreigner working on an antenna in R. Fuggiri fell from it today, sustaining serious injuries.

An official from the Ungoofaaru Regional Hospital told "Mihaaru" that a 26-year-old male from India was brought to the hospital with injuries around 4:00 PM today.

The official stated that due to the injuries sustained from falling from the top of the antenna, various parts of his body have suffered fractures.

Therefore, efforts are underway to send him to Malé for further treatment, the official added.

However, the exact time he will be sent to Malé is not clear.

Regarding the incident, the police stated that they received a report of someone getting injured after falling while working on top of a tower in Fuggiri, which is being developed as a resort.

The police stated that he fell from a height of 25 feet.
