Police have announced that they are searching for a man who stole a TV from a bus stop. 

A video publicized by police shows a man speaking on a phone outside the bus stop near Dharubaaruge. The man then enters the bus stop. He then removes one of two TVs affixed inside the bus stop and walks out, all while there are a number of people seated inside waiting for buses. 

The man seen in the video is wearing a white shirt and black trousers. 

Police stated that they are looking for the man in connection with an investigation into theft being conducted by the Henveiru Police. 

They have appealed for any persons with information regarding the individual to inform them through calling the Henveiru Police Investigation number 9400053.
