The winners were chosen yesterday for STELCO's drawing competition for children in celebration of National Engineers' Day.
The company decided to hold the competition to show the efforts of engineers and the company's interest toward it.
The competition was opened to the public and was meant to show engineers in service of various fields related to STELCO.
This includes engineers in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Software, Renewable Energy, Water and Sewerage fields.
The competition was split into two age groups. They are between 5 years old and 10 years old, and between 11 years old and 16 years old.
5-year old to 10-year old age category winners

Placement prizes
- 1st place drawing: MVR 2,500
- 2nd place drawing: MVR 1,500
- 3rd place drawing: MVR 1,000
- Drawings from 4th place to 10th place: MVR 500 each
The first place drawing was chosen as the backdrop for STELCO's Engineers' Day celebration.
