Aasandha Company Limited has appealed the case to High Court where the Civil Court did not grant an interim order for the vacation of a pharmacy being managed at Hulhumale' Hospital.
Aasandha Company filed a lawsuit against Santria Private Limited in the Civil Court to recover more than MVR 12 million, with Aasandha requesting an interim order for the premises to be vacated. However, the Civil Court decided not to grant their request.
Aasandha Company has appealed the case at the High Court, with the court yet to reach a decision whether or not to accept the case.
While the case has been appealed, the Civil Court has issued an interim order to Santria whereby the premises are not to be leased to another party before the case concludes.
Aasandha Company filed a lawsuit against Santria Private Limited in the Civil Court, stating that the company continues to use the space despite the expiration of the agreement made with them in 2017 to operate the Hulhumalé Hospital pharmacy, and to recover more than MVR 12 million in rent, revenue share, and damages.
