Falah Pre-School celebrates Golden Jubilee

Falah Pre-School has celebrated their Golden Jubilee.

The preschool opened on 20th January 1976.

Falah Pre-School is managed by a private association known as "Jamiyyathul Falah". The association was officially registered by the government in 1961, an association that started via the efforts of the late Aboobakuru Ibrahim.

Initially named Madrasathul Falah, it was renamed to Falah Pre-School on 25th December 2001.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu attended the Golden Jubilee, which was held today, as an honorable guest.

During the ceremony, the President inaugurated the school's website, with plaques being commemorated to teachers who have served at the school for more than 10 years.

Speaking at the ceremony, Falah Pre-School chief executive Al-Hafiz Abdul Sattar Aboobakuru said Madrasathul Falah initially operated without any fees.

He continued by stating that later on, they began taking a fee for their services, and that as the fee from the students was not adequate to manage the school, it was brought to the attention of the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Skills Development.

He expressed gratitude for the work being done by their teachers and administrative staff.

The school started with very few students and currently has preschool, nursery and baby nursery classes.

Falah Pre-school has two sessions. The first session has UKG and LKG classes. The second session has baby nursery and nursery classes.
