Villa International High School (VIHS) has awarded scholarships to 88 students across three categories.

At a ceremony held yesterday evening at the school, "Qasim Ibrahim Scholarship for Excellence" was presented to 14 students this year. Under this scholarship awarded to students who achieve the highest academic results, those students will receive the opportunity to study at VIHS at no cost.

The "Brilliant Students Scholarship" was awarded to 52 students. Based on the proportion of the scholarship received by each student under this category, a discount ranging between 15 percent and 35 percent will be provided.

Additionally, the "VIHS Sports Scholarship" was awarded to 22 students who have achieved notable successes in the field of sports. Each student who received this scholarship will get a discount ranging between 10 percent and 15 percent on the monthly fee.

These scholarship programs by VIHS are conducted to support talented and outstanding students and to provide educational opportunities under Villa's guidance.

The school stated that while approximately MVR 1.3 million is spent annually on the students awarded scholarships this year, a total of MVR 2.6 million is spent over two years.

The school mentioned that these scholarships reflect the special importance given to education and human development by Villa High School Chairman Qasim Ibrahim.
