Shaheeb Media has announced that they will be conducting a special media training program for Media and Public Relations Officers of State and private offices and companies. 

The Advanced Media Literacy Training Program is scheduled to be held from August 23 to September 3. 

Shaheeb Media said that the 20-hour program will cover dissemination of information regarding products, projects and events to the public, familiarization with existing Maldivian media, and skills on building relations with media personnel. 

The sessions will be held from 8pm to 10pm every night at Ahmadhiyya International School. 

The classes will be led by Shaheeb Media President and veteran journalist Mohamed Shaheeb, who has 35 years of experience in journalism. 

Chief Government Spokesperson Mohamed Hussain Shareef (Mundhu) will be a Guest Speaker at special sessions, Shaheed Media said. 

The course fee for the program is MVR 3,500. Some agencies have been granted free admission. Applications will be accepted until August 20.
