Hulhumale' Hospital has stated that the rumors being spread on social media about an employee of theirs are false.

Regarding the press release from the hospital about a doctor at the hospital sexually assaulting a patient who had gone to seek treatment, Hulhumale' Hospital assured that all of the services provided by them prioritize safety, dignity, individual freedoms and maintaining trust.

The hospital went on to say that they prioritize all concerns and issues raised by patients and are taken as serious problems. The statement reads that they take the necessary steps as per their relevant policies, professional guidelines, laws and guidelines.

"Some of the rumors spreading on social media are false, based on the information the hospital has received," wrote Hulhumale' Hospital.

The statement further reads that the hospital has always worked to uphold the professional guidelines in the health industry and their treatment at the highest level.

According to Hulhumale' Hospital, they encourage treatment that prioritizes the patient's dignity, respecting their freedoms, getting their consent, and their staff and patients to abide by professional guidelines and clinical regulations.

And so, as they are a government institution, protecting the information and maintaining confidentiality regarding patients and staff is an assurance of the hospital, as it should be according to laws and guidelines, said Hulhumale' Hospital.

The statement goes on to say that spreading information about services provided by the hospital without seeking out the truth will foster dissatisfaction among patients, health service providers and their families, with the loss of trust in medical services being a matter of concern to the hospital.

The hospital urged to not spread information that has not been confirmed, and that they will continue to provide health services that are safe, ethical and meet professional standards.
