Police have issued a public notice seeking a man wanted for questioning in connection with a terrorism investigation.

Police are seeking Ibrahim Azhad of Hiyaleege, Shaviyani Komandoo in the case.

Police said they were unable to serve him with a summons because his current whereabouts are unknown.

As a result, he has been ordered to appear for questioning under the procedures governing criminal investigations.

According to the notice, Ibrahim Azhad has been instructed to report to Sergeant Adam Haleem at the Criminal Investigation Building at 3pm on 15 August in relation to an investigation being conducted by the Terrorism and Violent Extremism Investigation Department.
